Best Songs of 2021: 10 to 6

The saving grace of a year riddled with global uncertainty is the release of amazing anthems from all spectrums of music. We've seen pop hits captivate audiences from around the world, rock music have an enormous resurgence and rap conquer radio stations and streaming services alike. 

To whittle down a list of high calibre songs to just 10 does a disservice to the plethora of incredible bands and artists that created memorable music moments which have provided joy and hope for millions this year. However the task has been completed and the ten songs which have rightfully earned their spots have been selected.

Honourable mentions which narrowly missed the heights of the top ten include the unashamedly raunchy banger MONTERO by Lil Nas X, metal titans Slipknot's spontaneous yet epic return with The Chapeltown Rag, upcoming Brit sensation Tom Grennan's alluring hit Little Bit Of Love and megastar Post Malone's Motley Crew.
